Biography
I am the Chief Executive Developer at Level 12, a web & database development shop that uses solid engineering and modern development practices to make our customers really, really, happy.
I hold a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics and have done some work towards an MBA. I'm passionate about the Python programming language, good development practices, automated testing, and engaging the next generation of developers. To that end, I am and have been involved in:
- A number of OSS projects: Bitbucket and Github
- Founder of DerbyPy: a Python user group in the Louisville metro area
- Mentor for Velocity Indiana Accelerator program
- Teaching volunteer for Velocity Indiana Education program
- Presenter at MOSSCon 2013: Practical Test Driven Development
- PyOhio 2014: lighting talks related to automated testing
